Terms of service

These terms apply when you use mytherapywear.com or buy from us. TherapyWear, "we" and "us" mean the business that runs this site, at 347 Leon Avenue, Suite 210, Kelowna, BC V1Y 8C7, Canada. By using the site or placing an order, you agree to these terms. Our Shipping policy, Return policy and Privacy policy are part of them.

1. Ordering
You must be 18 or older, or have a parent or guardian's permission, to order. Please give us accurate details, including a delivery address and an email address where we can reach you. We may decline or cancel an order, for example if it is out of stock or a price on the site was wrong. If we do, we refund everything you paid.

2. The product
We describe TherapyWear as accurately as we can, including its heat levels, power bank and materials. Colours can look a little different on different screens. If we find a mistake on the site, we correct it.

3. Prices, taxes and payment
Prices are shown in your local currency and include shipping to the 14 countries we ship to. For orders delivered in Canada, sales tax is added at checkout. For orders delivered anywhere else, we pay the import duties and taxes, so there is nothing to pay on delivery. You pay at checkout with one of the methods shown there. A discount code can be used once and has no cash value.

4. Shipping and delivery
We ship only to the countries listed in our Shipping policy, and shipping is free. The delivery times there are estimates, and carriers are sometimes late. The parcel becomes your responsibility once it is delivered to your address.

5. Returns, refunds and cancelling
Our 30 Day Money Back Guarantee, and how to return an order, are in our Return policy. If you live in the United Kingdom, the European Union or Norway, you also have a legal right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving it; the Return policy explains how.

6. Warranty
Your TherapyWear is covered for 30 days from delivery against defects in materials and workmanship: we repair or replace it. This is on top of your rights under consumer law and does not reduce them.

7. Safe use
Read the instruction booklet and the safety sheet before the first use, and follow them. In short:

  • Wear a shirt or another layer underneath, so the heating panels never touch bare skin.
  • Never use the heat while sleeping, and never leave it switched on unattended.
  • It is not for children, or for anyone who cannot feel heat normally. If you have a health condition or are pregnant, ask your healthcare professional before using it.
  • Never switch the heat on if the garment is wet or damp. Switch it off straight away if you feel discomfort.
  • Unplug and remove the power bank before washing, and wash by hand only.
  • Charge the power bank only with the cable supplied. Keep it away from water, heat and direct sunlight, and stop using it if it is damaged, swollen, leaking or smells odd.

TherapyWear is clothing with a heating system, made for warmth and comfort. It is not a medical device, and nothing on this site is medical advice.

8. Reviews and photos you share
If you send us a review, photo or video, it must be honest and your own. You allow us to show it on our site and social media with your first name and the first letter of your last name, and you can ask us to remove it at any time.

9. Our content
The words, photos, videos, logo and design on this site belong to TherapyWear or to the people who allowed us to use them. Please don't copy or reuse them without our written permission.

10. Using the site
Use the site only for lawful purposes. Don't try to damage it, break into it, or get in the way of other people using it.

11. Our responsibility to you
If we break these terms, we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that was a foreseeable result. We are not responsible for loss that was not foreseeable, for business losses, or for harm caused by using the product against the instruction booklet and safety sheet. Our total responsibility for an order is limited to what you paid for it. Nothing in these terms limits our responsibility where the law does not allow it, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, and nothing takes away your rights under consumer law.

12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The version on this page when you place an order applies to that order, and the effective date at the top shows when they last changed.

13. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada that apply there, and disputes go to the courts of British Columbia. If you live outside Canada, nothing in these terms takes away the consumer rights you have under your own law.
